Raul Castro Meets with World Food Program Director

HAVANA TIMES – Cuban President Raul Castro received on Wednesday afternoon in Havana Ms. Ertharin Cousin, executive director of the World Food Programme (WFP), reported the local media.

The visitor expressed satisfaction with the progress of WFP cooperation projects with Cuba, and the willingness to support the government’s efforts for economic and social development of the country.

The WFP is a part of the United Nations system, specialized in food aid.
