US Senator Travels to Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 6 — US Democratic Senator Christopher Dodd began this weekend a visit to Cuba with the aim of exploring means to improve bilateral relations, IPS reported on Wednesday citing the Miami-based El Nuevo Herald. Dodd has been one of the principal promoters of a change of policy toward the island, which includes lifting the embargo and restrictions on travel to the Caribbean island nation.
