Weather in Havana, July 5-11
More good summer weather
Eduardo A. Diaz Fernandez
HAVANA TIMES — While we’re in for a period of generally good weather, the afternoons will cloud up to produce occasional rainstorms due to daytime heating and the influence of ocean breezes.
Some rain is expected on Saturday with the arrival of an active tropical wave that caused rainfall over Puerto Rico and the Lesser Antilles.
This wave is unlikely to develop into a cyclonic system over the coming days and no cyclonic systems are expected to develop in the remaining area over the next 48 hours.
Maximum temperatures will be stable at above 32°C (90°F) and the minimum temperatures will be around 25°C (77°F).
Winds will be weak and predominantly from the east.
The sea surface is warming up with the arrival of summer and it’s expected to reach 29°C (84°F) during this upcoming period.
