Women a Minority in Technical Schools

HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 24 — Women barely represent 38 per cent of the enrolment in technical-professional schools in Cuba, Deputy Minister of Education Kenelma Carvajal announced, pointing to gender-related prejudices as the main cause of this imbalance, reported IPS.
