he is Canadian parading as Cuban – he does not live in Cuba
How odd! Only last week when visiting Victoria BC, I was asked by a Cuban musician who was playing and singing at the Fisherman’s Wharf, if I happened to know Valentin Fuentes. I do! Valentin a friend, is the father of Alex Cuba and his brother who also lives in BC. The World is a small place! Thanks for the selection, Alex reflects the soul of Cuba, which is its music. But listening to Valentin playing his guitar under the stars at night in Cuba itself is dreamlike!
