Chavez Leaves Cuba for Venezuela
HAVANA TIMES, July 24 — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez completed the first phase of his chemotherapy treatment in Cuba and made an unannounced trip to Caracas on Saturday.
Upon his arrival to Venezuela, Chavez told the nation on TV and radio that he felt better than when he left for Havana a week earlier and that he is aware that the treatment will continue for the long haul. See Chavez on You Tube.
Chavez, 56, had a baseball size tumor removed “from the pelvic area” by Cuban doctors on June 20th but has not said exactly what type of cancer he suffered.
While in Havana, Chavez was visited by Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa, Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega and Argentine soccer legend Diego Armando Maradona. Between his chemotherapy treatments he had frequent visits from Fidel Castro.

The point here to notice is Daniel Ortega. I was very active in the 1980s in Nicaragua solidarity. But I have no doubts whatsoever that the allegations by Zoilamérica Narváez of being sexually abused by her stepfather Daniel Ortega since she was 11 are true. What REALLY disgusts me is the shameful way the Latin American pseudo-left has allowed yet another macho rapist to get away. Remember Ernesto Cardenal and Henry Lewites. If not, you really need to look them up. Compared to Ortega they are moral giants in Nicaragua. Google From comandante to caudillo in Britain’s The Guardian 7 November 2006. Ortega also found it opportunistically appropriate to criminalise teenage girls pregnant as a result of rape for trying to save their lives by having an abortion even when their own lives are at danger. Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro have always stood by Daniel Ortega. That is one of the main reasons why unlike other readers of Havana Times I have very little regard for them!!!!
