Children’s Carnival in Santiago de Cuba

HAVANA TIMES — The month of July is a joyous month in Santiago de Cuba full of celebrations. On the heals of the Caribbean Fire Festival, the masquerades have already begun. The water carnivals took place over the preceding weekend along the entire Santiago coastline. Then came the Children’s Carnival that ended on Sunday. Now the famous annual carnival has begun and runs through next Sunday.
Here I share with you some pictures of the parade that kicked off the Children’s carnival.
