Cuban baseball player Yoennis Cespedes last week received an offer for close to $40 million to play for the Florida Marlins. After a two-day visit to Miami to meet with executives of the Marlins, Cespedes returned last Thursday to the Dominican Republic where he has had permanent residence since last month.
