A Uruguayan group of art aficionados, Agárrate Catalina, visited the city of Havana recently, where they thrilled audiences with their region’s unique cultural expression of “murga,” a form of popular musical-theatre performed primarily in Montevideo, Uruguay during the carnival season.
The Caribbean audience found the performance both interesting and rewarding, as they were able to appreciate the art and culture of the South American nation.

A Cuban “CDR” Celebration
