HAVANA TIMES — Those interested in coming into direct contact with nature and enjoying good beaches should definitely visit the towns of Caleta and Playa Larga, located in the Zapata Swamp, south of Matanzas.

The peace and quality services offered by the accommodations rented to Cubans and foreigners are two of Caleta’s highly noteworthy features. Along the beach area, one gets a sense of the pace at which new homes and facilities are being built, making a small town with less than 4,000 inhabitants seem like a successful tourist destination.
