HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 28 — What was the powerful hurricane Rina is now a mere tropical depression and the Cuban Weather Service (INSMET) has issued its last advisory on the storm.

At 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Rina recorded maximum sustained winds of 28 mph (45 kph).

The now downgraded storm is expected to take a turn to the south in the coming hours, according to projections of the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and INSMET.

Some associated rainfall is expected in Havana over the weekend.
