Cuba Yellow Pages to Include Self-Employed

HAVANA TIMES, Dec. 8 — The Cuban telephone and telecommunications company (ETECSA) is, for the first time, offering to include self-employed workers in the yellow pages of its telephone directory, reported the Granma newspaper on Tuesday.

According ETECSA, the fee will be 10 CUC (about $11 USD) for each ad.

This opportunity for self-employed workers is intended to satisfy the demand for contact information regarding new services in the emerging non-state sector. Shortly, a single section will be published with government and non-government listings.
