Cuban Divers Climb on the Podium

HAVANA TIMES – Cuban divers Jose Antonio Guerra and Jeinkler Aguirre obtained silver medals this past weekend in the third stage of the Grand Prix diving tournament taking place in Ottawa, Canada, reported Prensa Latina.

The Cuban duo accumulated 450.09 points in the synchronized platform at 10 meters, the highest score achieved by them this season, and second to the Olympic champions Yuan Cao and Zhang Yanquan of China.

The islanders will return to competition in the Diving World Series in Mexico, whose final stages are scheduled for Guadalajara, the 17th and 19th of this month and the Federal District, the 24 to 26.
