HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 16 — US journalist Jeffrey Goldberg has been taking heat from rightwingers for not demonizing Fidel Castro enough in two recent articles for Atlantic Magazine.  In an article published today titled America’s Absurd and Self-Defeating Cuba Policy, Goldberg gives details of the attacks he’s received and presents his take on them.

Goldberg visited Cuba in August with analyst Julia Sweig and spent several days with the former Cuban president.  His articles published last week also received criticism from Fidel Castro who said while quotes were accurate; the interpretation of them was not.  In today’s article Goldberg does not cover that issue.
