Governments Must Do Far More to Avert Climate Catastrophe

HAVANA TIMES – A new report by the International Energy Agency finds that commitments by world governments to cut carbon emissions are nowhere near what’s needed to avert climate catastrophe. The IEA is calling on governments to move decisively to cut emissions in half by 2030 — far faster than what countries have pledged under the Paris Climate Agreement.
