HAVANA TIMES – The conditions remain for the occurrence of rain and scattered thunderstorms, which will be more frequent in the afternoons after the daytime heating. Winds will be from the east, with speeds between 10 and 20 km/h.
The high temperatures will fluctuate between 31 and 34° C (88 and 93 F) and the lows between 22 and 24° C (72 and 75 F). The sea surface temperature is 29° C (84 F).
Relevant weather conditions:
A low pressure system at high levels of the atmosphere is located over the Bay of Campeche. Over the Caribbean Sea and Cuba is a weak to moderate anticyclone flow, which transports moisture at low levels of the atmosphere and generates isolated convection and precipitation. During the remainder of the 7-day forecast period a weak anticyclone influence will prevail.
