Relatively Cool days

HAVANA TIMES – The anticyclonic influence has prevailed of late, which has maintained a flow from the northeast and mostly clear skies. A cold front will be moving over the Gulf of Mexico this Thursday and Friday, arriving in western Cuba on Sunday morning. Subsequently, anticyclonic conditions will prevail again, with an increase in the intensity of the winds towards the beginning of next week.

Mostly clear days are expected in Havana, with only a few showers this weekend. The winds will be from the east and northeast, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h and a calm sea in general. The humidity will be between 50 and 85%, highest at dusk. The high temperatures will be between 26 and 28° C (79 and 82 F), and the lows between 20 and 22° C (68 and 72 F). The sea surface temperature will be 28° C (82 F).

Over the North Atlantic, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, no tropical cyclone formation is expected during the next 5 days.
