HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 6 – The remnants of the cold front that caused rain since this past Monday and the influence of a continental anti-cyclonic movement will bring isolated rain until Saturday.
Maximum temperatures will fluctuate around 29°C (84°F) while the minimum temperatures will close to 23°C (73°F).
The winds will be mainly from the northeast until Monday, when they will shift and begin issuing from the south for the rest of the period.
The sea surface temperature the will be around 30°C (86°F).
The Tropical Storm Philippe is at 25.3°N 61.3°W at a distance of 2,150 km (1,336 miles) from Havana and moving in a northwest direction at a speed of 10 km/h (6 mph). Trajectory models predict that it will begin to move northeast in the next 10-15 hours.
No tropical cyclonal developments are expected in the rest of the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico in the next 24 at 48 hours.
