High-Ranking Chinese Leader in Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 1 – Wu Bangguo, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee and president of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People’s Assembly, will carry out a visit to Cuba starting today through Thursday invited by of Ricardo Alarcon, speaker of the island’s parliament.

China is Cuba’s second leading trade partner after Venezuela.
