HAVANA TIMES, Feb 16 — Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanes will give two concerts in Costa Rica, on February 23 and 25, six years since his last stage appearance in that country, reported that Central American country’s newspaper La Nacion.
The singer’s first concert will be at the National Theatre of San Jose, while two days later he will give a free open-air concert at the La Sabana Parque Metropolitano, where as many as 20,000 people may attend.
“Of course I’ve made new records, and there are two essential CDs that I would like people to hear: Regalo, which is my latest one; and Como un campo de maiz, the one before that. I’ll also sing those songs that the public always expects, “said Milanes last week in an interview with La Nacion.
Between the two concerts, on February 24, Milanes will celebrate his 69th birthday.
