Palestinian Human Rights Lawyer Held Without Charge in Israeli Prison

HAVANA TIMES – Al Jazeera is reporting the Palestinian human rights lawyer Diala Ayesh has now spent nearly a month in jail without charge. She was detained on January 17 at an Israeli checkpoint. Prior to her arrest, she had helped form a new collective of women lawyers to work on the unprecedented number of Palestinians being jailed in the West Bank and Jerusalem following the October 7 Hamas attack.

Back to the article, do you believe Palestinian human rights activists should be jailed indefinitely without charge or under fabricated charges?

  • I am praying for all the good, innocent people in Gaza and Israel. In America we have the right to read, think and vote for the left or the right. We should all be critical thinkers, discerning what is right or wrong. The history of communism has claimed millions of lives. Democracy now in my opinion is pro communism. Cuba does not need more suffering but freedom to hear the truth in politics and its government. One of the first lessons in finding the Truth is “follow the money”. Who is funding? Who are their leaders and where have they come from? What universities? Bias lives everywhere but only seeking real news will people be free.
