Rations for Havana Residents July 21-27

HAVANA TIMES — We present the list of rationed protein products that Havana residents can purchase this week (July 21-27) with their ration booklets at their neighborhood “bodega” stores. The portions are distributed by month on a rotation basis in the 15 municipalities of the capital.

CHICKEN (1 lb. bulk consumer over 14 years and medical diets): Conclude distribution in: Diez de Octubre, Habana del Este, Marianao, Cerro and Guanabacoa. Distribute in Boyeros, Centro Habana, San Miguel del Padron and La Lisa.

FLAVORED HASH (½ pound per consumer): Conclude distribution in La Lisa and distribute in Habana del Este.

MORTADELLA (½ pound per consumer): Conclude in Boyeros and Habana Vieja, distribute in Playa and Cotorro.

GROUND BEEF (1 lb. ages 0-13 years). Conclude distribution in Cotorro, La Lisa and Centro Habana; distribute in Plaza, Cerro, Diez de Octubre; Begin distribution in Arroyo Naranjo.

EGGS (5 for consumer and medical diets): Conclude distribution in Playa, Marianao, Arroyo Naranjo, Cerro and La Lisa; Distribute in Cotorro, Regla, Plaza, Habana Vieja and Centro Habana.

CHICKEN for FISH (11 ounces per consumer): Conclude distribution in Habana Vieja, Plaza, Boyeros; Distribute in Cotorro, Arroyo Naranjo and Diez de Octubre.

FISH (6 pounds for medical diets and special diets for children up to 8 years): Conclude distribution in Habana Vieja, Plaza, Boyeros; Distribute in Cotorro, Arroyo Naranjo y Diez de Octubre.

During July Havana residents also receive a quota of 7 pounds of rice, 10 ounces of grains (beans or peas), 3 pounds of white sugar and 1 pound of brown sugar, ½ pound of oil, 13 boxes of sauce, 4 ounces coffee (for over 7 years), and salt for household composition.
