HAVANA TIMES — December is the month when cold fronts return to affect the country. It is characterized by temperatures that are somewhat cooler than in November, especially in its second half.

For this coming seven-day period we expect some scattered showers and squalls during the first few days. The rest of the time there will be good weather with cool temperatures during the daytime hours and relatively low temperatures in the early mornings.

Maximum temperatures will range just above 25°C (77°F), while the minimum temperatures will drop to around 17°C (63°F).

The prevailing winds will be moderate and from the northeast.

The sea surface temperature will reach 26°C (79°F).

There will be sea swells that will present danger to small boats.
