Some rain in Havana as a result of Hurricane Sandy

HAVANA TIMES — Hurricane Sandy, moving due north-northwest, will land late Wednesday or early Thursday morning somewhere along the southeast coast between Granma and Santiago de Cuba province, resulting in heavy rains in the east.
As an effect of the storm, Havana will experience only some scattered showers in the first part of the term. The remainder of the time we will have good weather with pleasant temperatures and moderate winds.
No other cyclonic systems are expected to develop in the rest area over the next 48 hours.
Maximum temperatures will be over 29°C (86°F), while the minimum ones will remain stable at around 23°C (73°F).
Caution is advised in the wind, which will be moderate to severe and coming from the north.
The sea surface temperature will reach 28°C (82°F).
