Photo Feature by Elio Delgado Valdés

HAVANA TIMES – The city of Guira de Melena, population 25,000, is located 25 miles south of Havana in what is today the province of Artemisa.

The city was founded in 1779 and farming is its main employer.

We took a walk down several Guira streets to give our readers a taste of its daily life.
