HAVANA TIMES – The Havana carnival began on August 9 with the traditional parade down the Malecon sea wall with dance troupes, floats, bigger than life size dolls, a showing of classic autos and the police with their motorcycle acrobatics.
The main carnival days will take place over two weekends with numerous music/dance activities planned during the week no only on the Malecon, but also in parks and plazas of the different municipalities that make up the capital city.
