HAVANA TIMES — After losing 20-0 in its series opener to Ciego de Avila, Granma had two possible ways to go; total demoralization or start from scratch.

They chose the latter and rebounded to win 4-2 on Friday, holding their rivals to only four hits and one earned run.

Leandro Martinez pitched a gem, going eight innings of three-hit ball. Ciro Silvino Licea came on to get the save allowing one hit in the ninth.
