Cuban Gov. Gets Some Good & Bad News

All those in Cuba and around the globe who each year oppose the US embargo on the island, won another symbolic victory on Wednesday.

The UN and other rights groups are condemning the Ortega government over its mounting crackdown on opposition ahead of November elections.

Human Rights Watch warns that the arrests and home raids are part of a “government strategy” to eliminate political competition.
