Film Awarded in Cuba Wins Oscar

32nd Havana Film Festival Inscriptions

The 32nd International Festival of the New Latin American Cinema will take place in Havana from December 2–12, 2010, and is summoning —as it does every year— works to be submitted in film competitions in the areas of fiction, documentary and animation, first works, unpublished scripts and film posters. The deadline is September 10.

Rafael Doménech Show at Casa Guayasamín

A personal exhibit by visual artist Rafael Alejandro Domenech will be on display at the Casa Osvaldo Guayasamin. This exhibition, composed of only three over-sized paintings, takes us through the city in a somewhat touristy vision assumed by the young painter.
