Jazz Plaza 2013 Set for December 19-22

Drummer Enrique Pla will be performing at Jazz Plaza 2013.

HAVANA TIMES – The 29th International Jazz Plaza 2013 Festival, to be held in Havana on December 19-22 will be dedicated to Cuban musicians Bebo and Chucho Valdes , announced by the Organizing Committee .

The opening ceremony will be at the National Theatre’s Avellaneda Hall with a concert by Maestro Chucho Valdes , dedicated to his recently deceased father.

Among the Cuban musicians set to play at the festival are Bobby Carcasses, Enrique Pla, Pablo Menéndez & Mezcla, Alexis Bosch, Ruy, Ernan and Harold Lopez-Nussa, Roberto Fonseca, Rolando Luna, Emilio Morales, Orlando Cubajazz, and Jorge Reyes.
