Read MoreCuban filmmaker Alejandro Brugués is preparing a horror comedy titled Juan de los muertos (John of the Dead), the first film of this genre produced in the island, the Cuban Institute of Cinema Arts and Industry (ICAIC) reported. The film, whose shooting will begin next September, is a co-production with Spain’s La Zanfoña Producciones. This will be Brugués’ second film, having previously directed Personal Belongings.
