Cuban physician Jeovany Vega Jimenez ended his hunger strike on Sunday after being reauthorized by Cuban authorities to practice medicine. Jimenez Vega as well as Dr. Rodolfo Martinez Vigoa had been prohibited from practicing their professions after the two of them protested to the Ministry of Public Health asking for a review of their salaries.

Chavez Arrives in Cuba for Treatment
