Ciego de Avila is one game away from winning their first Cuban baseball championship after bombarding Industriales 10-2 on Sunday on four home runs, two by Rusney Castillo who drove in four runs.

Heavy rains this week drenched the central Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus causing flooding, with damage in over a thousand homes including 47 total collapses, reported Civil Defense authorities.

Industriales came from behind to defeat Ciego de Avila 4-3 in ten innings on Saturday night. The series is now 2-1 favoring Ciego de Avilla with game four scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Ciego.

Sub-tropical storm Beryl, the second tropical cyclone of the current season in the Atlantic, is currently east of Georgia and some 215 miles southeast of Charleston, South Carolina. The storm poses no threat to Cuba, according to the Cuban Weather Service graph.
