Macrophotography in Cuba of Natural Elements

Macrophotography reveals elements that, because they are so small, normally go unnoticed by the casual observer (25 photos).

For the finals we have 59 photos from 18 photographers. The jury is selecting a first, second, third and fourth place in each category.

They’re no longer peoples’ fairs, but Agro-Industrial Fairs, and they’re not for everyone’s pocket. Prices are sky-high… (12 photos)

We started with 350 pictures from 52 participants and here are the 152 photos from 35 photographers that made the first cut in the five categories.

Street photography is what I most enjoy, observing architecture, people & everyday life where you might stumble upon a surprise. (27 photos)

Walking through Centro Habana to Old Havana, along the coastline, I have seen walls covered with graffiti and works of urban art (13 photos).

Here we have a woman, an artist in the full splendor of her creativity; she is also a sculptor, designer, photographer, and poet. (10 Photos)

Despair and sadness have taken hold of Cuba, as if beauty itself had emigrated, just like the uncontrollable exodus. (14 photos)
