The Napoleon museum is part of the City’s Historian Office’s network of museums program in Havana. Every summer, conferences and programs centered around diversity take place. These began on July 1st and will go on throughout the whole of summer.
On Sunday July 15th, a HD digital copy of Voltes V was screened at Havana’s Acapulco movie theater. This Japanese anime TV series forms part of a festival that has been organized by Havana’s Provincial Center of Film, under the name “Remembering is to go back…”. It also includes Russian and Cuban cartoons and will take place every Sunday at the same time until August 5th.
Everybody knows that there has been a upswing of repression and censorship of artists here in Cuba. Now, with the government’s so-called “constitutional reforms”, Decree-Law no. 349/2018 and its Chapter of Violations has appeared, with a new crime of contempt against artists.

Ariel is serving an unfair sentence after a summary trial was held on May 8th in Pinar del Rio province. He was arrested at the farm he shares with his sister and mother in Vinales.
