The Gran Piedra of Santiago de Cuba

Formed most likely from a volcanic rupture, the “Gran Piedra” (the Grand Stone) is an enormous rock measuring 51 yards long and 25 to 30 yards wide. This boulder is situated on the summit of a mountain rising 1,225 meters above sea level and located 25 kilometers southeast from the city of Santiago de Cuba. (20 photos)

The Cathedral in Santa Clara, Cuba

The Cathedral of Santa Clara, Villa Clara was built in 1923 and has a neo-Gothic style of architecture. It is filled with beautiful stained glass windows, that give it light and color.
