XII Havana Times Photo Contest – First Round Survivors

After a three-year break due to Covid-19 restrictions on travel and movement we returned this year with our 12th contest.

In the peripheral municipalities of Havana, there are some semi-rural spaces, far from the main population settlements. (26 photos)

As in the critical years of the special period of the ’90s, today the bicycle is again taking center stage among Havana residents. (44 photos)

Almendares Park is next to the Havana Forest, and they both share the Almendares River. It’s said to have been built after 1959. (25 photos)
