Havana Weather for November 4-10

High temperatures will drop this week starting Saturday, to between 26 & 30° C (79 & 86 F), and the lows between 20 and 22° C (68 and 72 F).

The days will remain hot, with some scattered clouds in the morning. Some isolated and light showers are expected mainly in the afternoons.

Partially cloudy from the morning, and after noon the cloudiness will increase, giving rise to showers that in some locations can be intense.

In the Atlantic, neither the powerful hurricane Sam or Tropical Storm Victor are forecast to affect Cuba or the Caribbean region.

TS Sam in the central Atlantic continues to intensify as it moves westward. At the moment it does not represent a threat to the Caribbean.

Over the North Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea, the probability of tropical cyclone formation will be high during the next 5 days.

The rains associated will be affecting portions of Florida and the southern United States, without posing a danger to Cuba for the time being.

Due to the current forecast, it is not expected that Hurriane Larry will affect Cuba and the Caribbean, but its evolution should be followed.

Hurricane Ida is about to cross over the Isle of Youth, Cuba and then between the Western provinces of Pinar del Río and Artemisa.

Over the Gulf of Mexico & the Caribbean, a medium to high probability of tropical cyclone formation is expected during the next 5 days.
